Lake Meditation Tour

Day 1
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and check
in at the hotel. After the welcome lunch you will make a city
tour and visit the wonderful, still in use, Gandan Monastery,
the Sukhbaatar Square and The Zanabazar Museum of Fine Art.
Named after the pre-eminent religious leader and artist of
the 17th century, the highlights of this museum include the
four buddhas sculpted by Zanabazar, a mandala done in silver
and gold threads and pearl beads, and the painting “One
Day in Mongolia”, attributed to the artist Sharav. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast, transfer to the airport to depart to Hatgal by
plane. Drive to “Huvsgul-Hangard” Tourist Ger
Camp. Meet with teacher. Introduce of whole meditation programs.
Visit to the Huvsgul Lake, the deepest lake in Central Asia
and elevated over 1645 meters above sea level. Since the lake
formed as a result of pro-genetic process, its water content
is high (384km3), and almost 70% of its bottom area are deeper
than 100 meters. Containing extremely little content of mineral
salts and organic substances, the water of Huvsgul is clean
and rich in oxygen even in the depth. Due to the transparency
of the water, the fishes are visible even from a depth of
dozens meters. Overnight in Ger Camp.
Day 3
Morning and afternoon have a meditation. After breakfast drive
to Dyan Deerkh Cave. Overnight in tents.
Day 4
After morning meditation drive back to the ger camp.
Overnight in Ger Camp.
Day 5
Mountain and forest day (high mountain excursion with lunch
in the forest). Return to camp. Overnight in Ger Camp.
Day 6
After morning meditation drive to the reindeer breeders. Eurasian
Otter and Asiatic Wild Dog live here and Saussurea involucrate
is found. Leaving the camp for Ulaanbaatar. In the evening,
see a performance by a Mongolian folklore group. Overnight
in hotel.
