Huvsgul Tour
The second largest freshwater lake in the World, Huvsgul covers
an area of over 1300 square miles is the home of reindeer
people and elevated over 1645 meters above sea level. Containing
extremely little content of mineral salts and organic substances,
the water Huvsgul is clean and rich with oxygen even in the
depth. Visit Tsaatan-reindeer families, which are fantastically
managed to survive our times and discover nomadics life.

Day
1
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to
a three or four star hotel. The rooms are facilitated with
shower/toilet and telephone. After check-in, you will have
the morning for yourself. After the welcome lunch you will
make a city tour and visit the wonderful, still in use, Gandan
Monastery, the Sukhbaatar Square
and the National History Museum.
National folk and dance concert. Dinner and overnight at the
hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast, transfer to the airport to depart to Hatgal by
plane. Drive to Huvsgul-Hangard Tourist Ger Camp. There is
no program for the rest of the day. Overnight in "Huvsgul-Hangard"Ger
Camp.
Day 3
Whole day of relaxing: swimming, boating and enjoying the
beautiful lakeside. The Lake Huvsgul,
the deepest lake in Central Asia and elevated over 1645 meters
above sea level. Since the lake formed as a result of pro-genetic
process, its water content is high (384km3), and almost 70%
of its bottom area are deeper than 100 meters. Containing
extremely little content of mineral salts and organic substances,
the water of Huvsgul is clean and
rich in oxygen even in the depth. Due to the transparency
of the water, the fishes are visible even from a depth of
dozens meters. Overnight in Ger Camp.
Day 4
Drive to the reindeer breeders. Eurasian Otter and Asiatic
Wild Dog live here and Saussurea involucrate is found. Overnight
in Ger camp.
Day 5
Mountain and forest day (high mountain excursion with lunch
in the forest). Return to camp. Overnight in Ger Camp.
Day 6
Visit a nomadic family. Leaving the camp for Ulaanbaatar.
Day 7
Departure.
